Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University was founded in 1996. The university has got State Accreditation and license of the Republic of Armenia. The university is located in the capital and largest city of Yerevan. The university also has accreditation of Armenia’s National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance known as ANQA. It is also approved by the National Medical Commission. The medical education program offered by Mkhitar Gosh University is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia. The duration of the MBBS program in Armenia is 6 years and includes one year of compulsory internship. Eligibility Criteria for pursuing MBBS from MGARIU
  • The MBBS aspirant must have completed a minimum age of 17 years on or before 31st December on the year of admission.
  • The students must have completed XII or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects in the last 2 years of their education.
  • The student must have scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in PCB.
  • The students must qualify NEET examination for taking admission in foreign medical universities as per regulations of MCI.

  • The MBBS students can do internship or practise medicine in India after qualifying the screening test of Foreign Medical Graduate Examination.
